Today is Reformation Sunday. We look back at the events of October 21,1517 when a Roman Catholic monk by the name nod Martin Luther saw some errors in the doctrine of the church. He wrote out his concerns in the form of 95 theses and nailed them to the door of the castle church in Wittenberg Germany.
In those days the church door serves as. Bulletin board of sorts for community announcements. What came out of all that, was the rediscovery of the teaching that we are not saved by our own efforts or works. We are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
