As we enter Holy Week, we hear the story of Jesus entering Jerusalem as told from the perspective of John. John’s description of Palm Sunday differs somewhat from those of the Synoptic Gospels.
Where Matthew, Mark, and Luke invite us to join the procession on the dusty road to Jerusalem, John is more reflective. Join me as we reflect, with John, on what the people were hoping for and on what Jesus was delivering on that first Palm Sunday.
