Have you ever had anyone praying for you? I hope you have. In church, we pray for those facing struggles. We pray for those celebrating anniversaries. We pray for those celebrating birthdays so we are praying for each member collectively as a congregation at least one time each year.
Usually for some to be regularly praying for you, a special relationship is assumed. That is the case in our Gospel reading for today. Jesus prays for His disciples and those that would believe because of their witness. That includes you and me! It also includes all who will believe through our witness
To know that Jesus is at the right hand of God and is praying for us is a source of great comfort. Join us as we consider the prayer Jesus gives us and what it means to our lives today.
